Some poor schmuck took Charlie Ga GA out for supper at Buttermilk Channel, a dining establishment in Carroll Gardens: LOCAL. ORGANIC. GREEN! Frank Bruni says it’s good, but Charlie isn’t so coy: the appetizers were a REVELATION. Bacon bar nuts. Delicious. BACON and nuts together as one! The entree was not so inspired: fried chicken, waffles and slaw. Meh. He smothered the entire dish in garlic aioli for flavor. He also thinks you’re better off spending your unemployment check on the KFC down the street–where they will service you immediately and won’t make you wait forever at the bar. Service fail.
He made it safely to Charlie’s tummy, for $87.78.

Recession y2k9 is making Americans desperate for cheap and convenient ways to feed their tummies. Why resort to transforming your backyard to a poultry farm when WE’VE GOT BAGELS! Bagels will be here to the end of time like cockroaches, rats, and Larry King, so stop with the chickens and stock up (only on Mondays). They won’t poop in your yard either.

Charlie is so stoked that Food Party’s first episode was such a smash hit! He’s treated himself with a trip out to his happy hello kitty cabin in the woods and feasted on an AUTHENTIC JAPANESE MEAT BBQ. Sesame soy sensation, grilled on kabobs with noodles. And lubricated with some Asahi beer. Burpz!
Charlie made Hello Kitty hire some cute Japanese bois to work the kitchen grill too: pussys are easy like that.
